14-inch Atom Netbook, really?
Alright, we are confused whether to call this a netbook or a notebook. Perhaps an “oversized netbook” would be a much better term to describe it. At the CES Shenzhen 2010 show (not the Vegas one), folks at shanzhaiben.com discovered something very unique – a 14-inch Atom-powered netbook! This unknown beast features an (unspecified) Atom CPU, full-size keyboard (with a good size right shift key), webcam, and a cool Umbrella logo beneath the display. We don’t have the full specifications but we are pretty sure that they won’t be much different than current crop of netbooks.
It is priced at 2800 Yuan ($410) and we feel it is a fair price for a netbook of this size. On second thought, do we really need an Atom-powered netbook?
