Asus Eee PC 701 Gets Special Edition Custom Keyboard
Looking to improve your productivity but having a hard time remembering keyboard short cuts for adjusting the screen brightness, toggle the wireless on your netbook? I’m sure the answer is a resounding, huh? But one seller in Belgium has got a product for those of you who are looking to be quicker on the keys, its a customized Asus Eee PC 701 netbook.
Taking at look at the keyboard of this Eee PC 4G they have highlighted the important keys for making quick adjustments by making them black. Rather than make all of the special function keys black, the person behind this mod decided to give the keyboard a bit of a checkerboard look which makes some keys stand out. The layout of the black keys must be in part an aesthetic choice as the adjacent white keys also seem to pop out a little more making quick switches that little bit easier.
The custom netbook is selling for 120 Euros, or about $169 US.Like a standard Eee PC 4G, the little guy has a 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel display, 4GB of storage, 512MB of RAM, and runs Windows XP.
