Last week Samsung’s highest end netbook in their NF trio of netbooks, the NF310 went on sale for $399 and now the mid-range model, the NF210 is up for grabs at Amazon.com for a little cheaper at $379. The last we heard, it was going to be exclusive to Sam’s Club, obviously not.
The difference apart from the obvious color change and price drop is that this model comes with a single core Intel Atom N455 processor rather than the dual core Atom N550 found on the NF310 and the finish on the palm rest differs and the trackpad is flush with a dimpled surface. There’s no mention of screen resolution but it was last announced with a 1024 x 600 display. Also no mention of Bluetooth, or even Bluetooth 3.0 seen on the NF310.
The rest of the specs are identical – 1GB DDR3 RAM, Integrated graphics, 250GB HDD, 0.3MP webcam, SRS Premium Sound, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, 10/100 LAN, 6-cell battery (14 hours) and Windows 7 Starter.
Samsung’s multimedia and gaming oriented RF series RF510 and RF710 netobooks are now available in the US.
Amazon and Newegg have in stock the 15.6-inch Samsung RF510-S01 with the Intel Core i5-450M CPU and a 500GB hard drive, and RF510-S02 with Core i7-720QM with a 600GB HDD. The 17.3-inch RF710-S02 is on sale at TigerDirect and also has the i7-720QM and a 640GB HDD, but additionally features a Blu-ray combo drive, instead of a DVD burner.
All three notebooks come with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 1GB dedicated video card and 4GB of RAM.
The RF series laptops include new technology called Fast Start that enables a 3-second bootup, as well as HDMI outputs, webcams, and Bluetooth.
The Samsung RF510-S01 and RF510-S02 are cheaper at Newegg and cost $849.99 and $999.99, respectively. The RF710-S02 is priced at $1,099.99 (TigerDirect).
Coming next in line with the red R 580, Samsung now brings forth the all new elegant Samsung NP-R590-JS0YDE which is not only dynamic because of Core i5-450M, but can impress you more with an incorporated Blu-Ray drive simultaneously.
Apart from this, in Samsung NP-R590-JS0YDE there is hardly anything which may bother you in terms of stability. Last month I got a chance to check out one of Samsung’s newest mini-laptops, the NF210. Aside from a few snazzy design choices which probably make the NF210 a love it or hate it machine, the Samsung NF210 doesn’t have much to set it apart from earlier Samsung netbooks. It has the same display, processor, and other specs as pretty much every Samsung netbook launched this year.
But it turns out the Samsung NF210 has a bigger brother. Today the company officially launched the Samsung NF310 in the US. While it has the same case design as the Samsung NF210, this $399 model has some premium specs, including:
- Dual core 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 processor
- 10.1 inch, 1366 x 768 pixel HD display
The rest of the specs are pretty much par for the course:
- Windows 7 Starter Edition
- Intel integrated graphics
- 1GB DDR3 memory
- 250GB hard drive
- 802.11b/g/n WiFi
- 6 cell battery (Samsung promises 9 hours run time)
- 2 x 1.5W speakers
The Samsung NF310 weighs 2.87 pounds. The company says it should be available this fall in the US. The good news is that when I met with Samsung last month a rep told me this laptop would run $429. It looks like the company has decided to offer it at a lower price.
Unlike the Samsung NF210, which is exclusively available from Sam’s Club in the US, the NF310 should be generally available soon.
After being greatly pleased with the upcoming model of the Q series from the elegant company of Samsung, one would be really keen enough to find that how a Samsung Q530-JT01 would perform.
Being impressively designed and elegantly fast equipment, the Samsung Q530-JT01 is probable to impress those after the replacement of a desktop. But the office is actually the place where the machine would be able to give its best and you could see a number of business guys resorting to the option for its more economical predecessor of Q 330. Being lighter than all the average notebooks offers you to have a complete mobile computing experience.

Samsung is showing a netbook called the Samsung N350 at IFA in Berlin this weekend.
The mini-laptop looks like a rebranded version of the Samsung N210, which has your typical netbook specs but which is the thinnest Samsung netbook on the market today. But the name change isn’t the only thing different about the Samsung N350.
The N350 also features both 3G and 4G modems. The unit on display at IFA has an HSPA+ 3G modem and an LTE modem for connecting to 4G networks.
The laptop has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 CPU, 1GB of DDR3 memory, a 250GB hard drive, and WiFi.The netbook also uses Samsung’s new Easy Share system for streaming content from a Samsung computer to a DLNA capable device such as a TV.
The Samsung X125 11.6-inch AMD Ultrathin-powered ultraportable notebook is now available in the UK.
The 0.96-inch thin Samsung X125 weighs 3.33 pounds and features the AMD Athlon II Neo K125 1.7GHz single-core processor, ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated graphics, 3GB of DDR3 memory, 320GB of hard disk space, and Windows 7 Home Premium OS.
Its LED-backlit glossy display has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
Samsung’s new ultraportable also includes an integrated web camera, stereo speakers, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN, Bluetooth 3.0, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and HDMI and VGA outputs.
The Samsung X125 is available via Amazon U.K. and LaptopsDirect.co.uk for about £435 ($680). We have no info on its availability in the U.S.

Specs-wise, the machine offers a 14-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-450 processor, a NVIDIA GeForce 310M 512MB graphics card, a 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, a DVD burner, a 3-in-1 media card reader, an HDMI output, a 6-cell battery and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. The Samsung Q430-11 is now available for purchase via BestBuy for $829.99.
Samsung x180 has appeared in Korea with a 11.6-inch display and the latest Intel Calpella platform featuring the Intel Core 330UM i3-processor running at 1.2 gigahertz.
The display’s resolution is 1366 × 768 pixels and is illuminated by LEDs which is pretty standard. Samsung also built in 3 gigabytes of RAM and an Intel GMA card with HD. The battery capacity is a comfortable 8850mAh making the x180 good for 8 hours of running time.
