Gigabyte T1125 and a new slate PC
11.6 inch convertible tablet M1125 was introduced earlier this year.
Gigabyte now introduces T1125. We may consider introducing a new category altogether for this one as it is a notebook, tablet and desktop hybrid all in one.
It has a nice rotating touchscreen and it folds into a tablet. It seems small at first glance but it does have a nice 1366 x 768 pixel display, a full sized keyboard, and an Intel ULV processor and a docking station.
According to DigiTimes, Gigabyte also plans to introduce a new slate PC without a keyboard later this year or in early 2011. That machine is described as being more “iPad-like,” although it’s not clear at this point if that means it will run Google Android or another operating system or stick with Windows 7 like Gigabyte’s current tablet offerings.
