Acer Quietly Slips In 11.6 Inch Acer Aspire 1430 Notebook

November 19th, 2010 No comments

Checking up on Acer today I stumbled upon the Aspire 1430  – yet another 11.6-incher to complement that lineup which already consists of multiple models.

There’s pretty much nothing new apart from slighty differing specs, of which, it compares closely to the Aspire TimeLineX 1830T except it comes with a slightly faster processor – the Core i5-540UM instead of a i5-430UM. Both are clocked at 1.2 GHz but the former has a higher Max Turbo speed of 2GHz instead of 1.73GHz and includes AES Advanced Encryption Standard.

The rest of the specs – an 11.6″ 1366 x 768 display, Intel HD graphics, 320GB HDD, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Gigabit LAN, webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and the usual array of ports including HDMI out. I don’t see it in any stores so who knows about the pricing.
