Two years ago, Samsung released the N310 10-inch netbook, which had a rather unique design at the time, done by some Japanese designer.
Now, the design has been brought back into 2011 with the NS310. The NS310 looks almost identical to the original but switches the rubberized exterior for something metallic and glossy and still keeps that rather obtrusive, overly enlarged Samsung logo the N310 had.
On the inside, is, as you’d expect, a dual core Atom N550 processor and a battery good for up to 12 hours. Screen brightness rests way above the norm at 300 nits. Weighs 1.03kg with a 24mm thickness. No word on pricing and availability right now.
The stylish Asus Eee PC 1015PN is a 10” netbook with an Intel Dual Core Atom N550 processor and NVIDIA ION graphics which gives a perfect HD quality video of 1080p.
HD video can be played nicely without transcoding them to a lower resolution first. Asus Eee PC 1015PN is equipped with 1GB of RAM, 250GB HD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0v, & 1.3MP camera. The netbook comes with Windows 7 Starter Edition. It is very similar to earlier model Eee PC 1015PED. The only difference is that the earlier one has Intel dual core Atom N475 processor where as the new model has Intel Dual Core Atom N550 processor.
It’s been up in UK stores up for preorder for quite a while now but it seems to have gone official now – I’m talking about the dual core Atom N550 version of the ASUS Eee PC 1018P netbook.
The 1018P is already old news and we’ve heard previously that it’ll get the upgrade to this dual core processor but nice to see it finally arrive officially. It is still one of the thinnest and lightest netbooks available today.
It’s expected to ship over there this week priced at 349 pounds, available in black or white. It’ll have the following specs – Intel Atom N550 processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 250GB HDD, 10.1″ 1024 x 600 display, 0.3MP webcam, 2x USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Gigabit LAN, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0+HS and Windows 7 Starter.

German e-tailer PC IT Shop has started offering the new ASUS Eee PC 1215P 12.1-inch ultraportable/netbook, featuring the latest Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor.
The Eee PC 1215P runs Windows 7 Home Premium OS and includes 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, a web camera, and a VGA port.
It’s offered in black and silver color and has a price tag of 446,90 Euros (566 USD).
