HP Pavilion dv6t, dv7t Quad Edition Series with “Sandy Bridge” Available

The HP Pavilion dv6t Quad Edition and HP Pavilion dv7t Quad Edition series notebooks with the latest Intel 2nd Generation Core “Sandy Bridge” processors are now available for purchase in the U.S.

The 15.6-inch Pavilion dv6t Quad (dv6tqe) and 17.3-inch dv7t Quad (dv7tqe) come with the Intel Core i7-2630QM 2GHz, i7-2720QM 2.2GHz, or i7-2820QM 2.3GHz quad-core processor and up to 8GB of RAM. The smaller laptop includes the Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics or ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6570 1GB dedicated video card, 1366×768 display with optional touchscreen capability, and up to 1TB of hard drive space, while the bigger model has the Radeon HD 6570 option only, 1600×900 screen, and up to 2TB of storage using dual HDDs.

Optical drive choices are a DVD burner and Blu-ray combo drive and there are also a built-in webcam, HDMI port, stereo speakers in both laptops with a subwoofer included in the dv7t, a brushed aluminum “stream argento” finish, and Windows 7 OS.

The HP Pavilion dv6t Quad Edition and dv7t Quad Edition series laptops can be ordered now for a base price of $899.99 and $999.99, respectively, at the Hewlett-Packard online store.

Latest Intel Core i5-580M CPU with 1GB GPU enables you to multitask and watch your HD vids all at the same time.
