HP ProBook 4530s Overview
The HP ProBook 4530s is a 15.6-inch notebook that belongs to Hewlett-Packard’s ProBook s-series lineup for budget-minded small and mid size business users.
The ProBook 4530s is based on Intel’s “Sandy Bridge” processors, ranging from the dual-core i3-2310M to quad-core i7-2630QM. These CPUs include the Intel HD 3000 graphics, which is the only available GPU option on this notebook. The laptop comes with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 750GB of hard drive capacity, and a DVD burner or Blu-ray combo optical drive.
The LED-backlight anti-glare display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
For networking, there are 802.11n wireless, Gigabit LAN, optional Bluetooth, and optionally built-in mobile broadband.
HP’s 4530s includes a 720p HD web camera in select models, microphone, stereo speakers, three USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 port, HDMI and VGA connectors, optional fingerprint reader, an ExpressCard slot, and a media card reader.
The s-series ProBook has a brushed-aluminum finish in metallic gray color, a spill-resistant isle-style keyboard, and a starting weight of 5.22 pounds with the standard 6-cell battery.
The HP ProBook 4530s runs Windows 7 operating system and features HP QuickWeb instant-on OS for quick access to the Internet, without Windows boot up.
The laptop has a base price of $579.



The machine packs a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 or 1600 x 900 LED backlit display, an optional AMD dual-core, three core or quad-core processor (Phenom II, Turion and Athlon) featuring VISION Pro Technology, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 graphics card, an 8GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a 128GB SSD (optional), a 2MP webcam, a DVD burner, a card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 6- or 9-cell battery and Windows 7 OS. The HP ProBook 6555b will become available next month for a starting price of $780.
