Samsung N150 Adidas Edition

June 8th, 2010 Tanya No comments

Samsung N150 Adidas EditionWhat would you get if you take a ‘normal’ Samsung N150 netbook  and put it in the hands of a sporting brand like Adidas? A Samsung N150 Adidas Special Edition. Other than the crazy design on its lid, you also get a bigger 250GB hard disk and has Bluetooth 3.0 instead of Bluetooth 2.1. Other than that, there is absolutely no difference.

Specs – Atom N450 processor, Windows 7 Starter OS.  1024×600 resolution, 10.1-inch display, 6-cell battery, 1GB RAM. Samsung has not announced the price of this special edition, but we are expecting it to be tiny bit more expensive than the normal Samsung N150 netbook.

Verizon to offer 3G-enabled Samsung N150 netbook

April 30th, 2010 Tanya No comments

samsung-n150Samsung has added a new version of the Samsung N150 netbook to its web site. Like all other models, the netbook has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 6 cell battery, and Windows 7 Starter Edition. What’s new is that this model will also come with a 3G modem for use with Verizon’s wireless broadband network.

The laptop weighs 2.7 pounds and Samsung says it should get about 7 hours of battery life.

I don’t see any information about pricing yet, but the Samsung n150 joins the HP Mini 311, HP Mini 110, and Gateway LT mini-notebooks in Verizon’s lineup.

You can pick up a Corby netbook in “Bermuda Blue,” “Flamingo Pink,” or “Caribbean Yellow” from Amazon or Best Buy. Amazon is selling all three colors for $319.99 + free shipping.

The Samsung N150 Corby netbook has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel non-glare display, 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 160GB hard drive. It ships with Windows 7 Starter Edition and a 6 cell battery.

Samsung is also offering a series of accessories in similar colors including a laptop case and a Corby mouse. The mouse is actually made by Belkin and the case comes from Cheil Industries. But they’re both designed to go with Samsung’s Corby series notebooks.
