Toshiba Launches Satellite C660, Satellite Pro C660 in Europe

Toshiba Europe has unveiled the Satellite C660 and Satellite Pro C660 15.6-inch budget laptops.

The Satellite C660 for consumers and business-oriented Pro C660 feature lower-end Intel and AMD processors, including the Intel Core i3, Pentium and Celeron, as well as AMD Athlon II and V Series. The C660 models come with integrated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, up to 640GB of storage capacity, and a DVD burner.

Both laptops have 1,366×768-pixel displays and anti-glare coating in select Satellite Pro C660 configurations.

The C660 systems have a web camera, keyboard with numeric pad, 802.11n Wi-Fi, optional Bluetooth, and two USB ports.

The Pro version comes with Windows 7 Professional, whereas the standard Satellite C660 runs Windows 7 Home Premium.

According to laptops’ images, the C660 has the same chassis design as the already available C650 Series. It looks like that the difference between the C650 and C660 are larger RAM and hard drive space in the later notebook.

Toshiba’s Satellite C660 and Satellite Pro C660 will be available early in the fourth quarter of 2010 in Europe, Middle East and Africa. There’s no word on pricing, as well as on availability in other regions.
